Explore the ancient art of paper folding. Join artist Jacqui Symons and learn the basic origami folds alongside making several different pieces of origami using beautifully patterned and handmade papers.
We will also explore different ways to display and present your artwork with a view to exhibiting pieces at the Create.Connect.Unwind festival May '22 .
About the artist: Jacqui Symons is a leading printmaker, designer and artist with a studio based at Woodend Mill, just outside Manchester. With over 10 years experience of delivering arts for health projects she is committed to creativity, inclusivity and engagement. Her work has been exhibited both in the UK and internationally, most recently in Hong Kong, Beijing and Canada https://jacquisymons.co.uk/about.html
