Lunchtime Concert Series @ MREH

Lime's popular Lunchtime Concert Series, now in its ninth year, sees over 100 concerts taking place annually and gives hospital visitors, patients, and staff a chance to enjoy live performances from top musicians. Set within the Royal Manchester Eye Hospital Atrium, these free concerts feature a wide range of instrumentalists performing a variety of genres.
Tuesday 10th March – 12:30-1:30pm – Bryony Lloyd
Local singer-songwriter performs a recital of folk songs on guitar
Thursday 12th March – 12:30-1:30pm – Ollie Charles
A solo recital of indie music from singer and guitarist Ollie Charles.
Tuesday 17th March – 12:30-1:30pm – Mark McKenzie
Gospel and jazz classics in a performance from a local pianist.
Thursday 19th March – 12:30-1:30pm – Amy and Alan
A classical guitar duo playing gentle music from the early Renaissance to Spanish folk songs and pop and jazz favourites.
Monday 23rd March – 12:30-1:30pm – Manchester Reed Trio
An ensemble of clarinet, oboe, and bassoon perform a little bit of everything.
Tuesday 24th March – 12:30-1:30pm – Duo Aerius
Classical classics alongside a few surprises from a violin and guitar duo.
