Take 30 Minutes ‘Time Out’ – Lime Arts Guided Gallery Tour

Join us for a 30 minute guided tour of MFT staff artwork currently on display as part of the Create.Connect.Unwind exhibition.
Take 30 minutes 'time out' to switch off, refresh, relax and enjoy this unique showcase of selected artworks created by MFT staff during the pandemic. Staff worked alongside Lime's artists during creative workshops to learn new skills and produced a range of unique works that include collage, ceramics, printmaking, textiles and poetry. Artworks explore a variety of topics from the experiences of trainee nurses, to themes inspired by nature.
Create.Connect.Unwind is a ground-breaking creative wellbeing project that launched 2020 in partnership with MFT’s Employee Health & Wellbeing Service, to support NHS staff during the pandemic. At a particularly hectic and exhausting time for many, Lime invited staff to join award winning artists to explore how creativity can quickly take us away from work pressure and ‘refresh’ the brain to improve concentration and help us connect, communicate and care better for ourselves and each other.
No need to book just turn up!! Open to staff + patients!!
Meeting point: A member of the Lime Arts Team will meet you just inside the entrance to St. Mary's Hospital at 2.30pm. Look out for the Lime on a stick!
