Create.Connect.Unwind Festival Closing Event – Music for the Mind+ Soul PLUS Pop-Up Gallery + Exhibition

Join us on the final evening of the Create.Connect.Unwind festival to celebrate and come together. Our Pavilion Stage will feature:
4:30-5:30pm Live music – Milap presents... Music for the Mind + Soul Featuring Akash Parekar (sitar) and Harkiran Singh Sahota (tabla)
Milap presents the classic combination of sitar and tabla with rising star on the Indian Classical music scene, Akash Parekar on sitar and Harkiran Singh Sahota on the tabla, in a concert that will delight audiences with a traditional Hindustani Afternoon Raga – perfect for both those who are Indian Classical aficionados or just wanting to experience something new.
4:30-7:00pm Pop up Gallery and Exhibition of artworks by MFT staff
This exhibition will celebrate some of the extraordinary and inspiring artworks created by MFT staff through Lime’s Create.Connect.Unwind programme, which has delivered 136 workshops to over 700 staff since June 2020.
Cacophany Arkestra will bring a unique carnival atmosphere to our final festival day with upbeat music and a performance featuring spectacular costumes, created by MFT staff.
As part of Creativity & Wellbeing Week 2022, Lime are hosting the inaugural Create.Connect.Unwind Festival celebrating creativity and wellbeing at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The festival will feature an exciting 3-day programme of free creative workshops and performances especially for MFT staff including:
- Drop in printing and creative workshops
- Indian dance workshops
- An evening of spoken word performance
- Live musical performance
- A concert with very special guest musicians from Indian arts organisation, Milapfest
- A pop up exhibition of artwork created by MFT staff through Lime’s staff wellbeing programme, Create. Connect.Unwind

All events are free to attend for MFT staff and are drop in- no need to book!
