Main Entrance artwork commission

As part of the development of the new Blackburn LIFT building for NHS Blackburn with Darwen Teaching Care Trust Plus with Eric Wright Partnership, Lime, the arts in healthcare organisation, wish to commission an artist to create a large scale artwork incorporating the main façade windows and internal entrance wall of the new building.



The artwork would be spread across the building façade and main entrance area, and needs to create a vibrant, inviting work inside and out of the building. The commission forms part of a scheme of commissions and artworks through the building, linked with an overall theme of 'light'. Artists would devise the work in consultation with participants and partners within the overall scheme.

Stairwell artwork commission

As part of the development of the new Blackburn LIFT building for NHS Blackburn with Darwen Teaching Care Trust Plus with Eric Wright Partnership, Lime, the arts in healthcare organisation, wish to commission an artist to create a series of artworks within the key stairwell areas of the new building.



The art medium is open at this stage, but needs to be compatible with the stair core areas.



The artworks are envisaged to be installed either on the internal walls of the stair cores, or incorporate window areas within them. The commission forms part of a scheme of commissions and artworks through the building, linked with an overall theme of 'light'. Artists would devise the work in consultation with participants and partners within the overall scheme.

As part of the development of the new Blackburn LIFT building for NHS Blackburn with Darwen Teaching Care Trust Plus with Eric Wright Partnership, Lime, the arts in healthcare organisation, wish to commission an artist to create a series of wall based artworks across the reception/waiting areas of the new building.



This will be a linked series of artworks, created as specific works for each area but linked thematically and visually. The commission forms part of a scheme of commissions and artworks through the building, linked with an overall theme of 'light'. Artists would devise the work in consultation with participants and partners within the overall scheme.
