Case Studies
These case studies are tools to aid and inform any arts or health practitioners who want to plan and implement a participatory arts project within a health care environment or the public sector. Each case study highlights areas of best practice within various settings using different art forms.
They outline the projects operational and strategic aims and issues, artist recruitment and selection methods are also clearly recounted, providing project briefs, artists proposals and biographies. Financial information, project continuation and sustainability strategies plus evaluation methods and techniques are also included.

Lime worked closely with patients, volunteers and staff to integrate a series of art commissions into their new breast cancer care and prevention centre. The commissions included a 42sq metre architectural art glass window, a digital film installation, textile, photographic and visual art.

An ongoing Creative arts programme spanning 15 years working with patients and staff to enhance both, patient well being and the patient environment. Art-forms include; Stained glass, poetry and creative writing, graphic design and print making, ceramics, 3D design and sculpture, animation, film making and music.
